Mammon is blushie but speaks about his feelings at length, and acknowledges that he and MC have been in love for a while.Mammon’s family rallies around him, surprising him with their no strings (or insults) attached help.Barbatos stands up for Mammon and tells Mephisto to gtfo (in one of the card chats, its revealed Lucifer also stood up for Mammon and made life… unpleasant for his attacker 🤭).Mammon shows once more just how well he keeps control of his powers, even when physically and verbally attacked.
MC gets to defend Mammon when his integrity is questioned, and that defense is listened to.Mammon shows that he puts MC before everyone else, including himself and his sin.It’s a little lighter on plot but packed with what we’ve been badly needing for Mammon these last two seasons ಠ_ಠ My previous faves are Survival Picnic and The Guardian Demon (both of which are major plot points in my Mammon fic, Wolf At Your Door), and this one ranks with them imo. It’s been a long time since OM put out a new devilgram that was an immediate favourite for me, but Mammon’s gacha UR+ this xmas is definitely one of them! Perhaps finally the viewer will be given a greater understanding of both, and if the viewer is who I suspect it might be, that could be very interesting indeed… Satan’s “birth” is painful for them both, a trauma never healed. Someone who values understanding, who makes friends with ease, who indulges his hobbies, who has his own unique bonds with his chosen family.īut Satan in the beginning, that was a very different being, and one who only had muddled memories and vague guesses as to who the fuck anyone around him is, and where the hell he happened to be 👀Ī mirror image - that is what this trailer shows, Lucifer’s blue turned to red to oppose Satan’s green, opposite hands clutching their faces, equal shapes in the background unlike any other pair (even the twins!), and dual faces of agony. In the original game, Satan has begun to learn who he truly is as his own unique being. Satan as a newly created being is so very much a part of Lucifer that the sight of the elder demon is an affront to his nature, an unrelenting reminder of who - of what he is.
A mirror image - that is what Satan has always feared himself to be, a part of Lucifer, an inescapable fragment of a singular soul.
